"Even the tiniest flower can have the toughest roots."
Do you ever wonder what it feels like to be a fully bloomed flower admired by many?— to be referred to as a symbol of magnificence and beauty, as well as purity and innocence. The thought of just effortlessly standing, hence being outstandingly beautiful.
When life gets tough, have you ever thought of escaping? Thinking about how you just wanted to be a flower so badly that you'd want to bury yourself alive.
Have you ever wondered how easy it is for them to live? Nevertheless, is it really that easy for a flower to live just because they appear to bloom gracefully? Aren't they also one of us?
There will always be a person who will choose you and yet throw you away once they saw your flaws. Just like how a flourishing flower was picked yet replaced once it gets dry and its petals started to fall.
There will always be a person who will pick you without the intention of growing with you. Just like how a once fresh flower was plucked and used only for decoration.
There will always be a person who will use you. The kind of person who will praise you at the beginning— every part of you, everything you've built. Not until that same person ends up destroying it, destroying you. Just like how long it took time for a flower to bloom and, in the blink of an eye, all the petals have been plucked out, leaving it on the ground; frozen, weak, powerless, dirty.
But little fighter, do not lose hope. The world, in truth, is full of awful people. But always remember— there are people who are just like you.
There will always be a person who will look at you the way you look at that one peculiar petal of your favorite flower, admiring— how can one be this extraordinarily beautiful?
There will always be a person who will have a second look at you the way you did to that jar of flowers over the supermarket counter thinking— how could someone be this magnificent?
There will always be a person who will still admire you even on your worst days; the one who will look at you and think that you are still as gorgeous as ever, even though you looked like a mess. Just like how you preserve and take good care of your dried flowers, how you're still looking at them every time you wake up as if it's the most beautiful set of flowers in the world.
There will always be a person who will be willing to grow with you. Just like how eager you are to take good care and grow your very first pot of sunflower.
Most importantly, there will always be a person who will never get tired of choosing you in a room full of people without having second thoughts. Just like how you constantly choose your favorite sunflower in a garden filled with roses.
Despite everything, always remember that you are as beautiful as a flower. When life gets tough, please do not lose hope. Bloom with grace.
When everything gets out of hand again, please do not wish to bury yourself alive, just like how easily flowers could be crumpled and buried. Because, unlike flowers, you could do more.
You can let go, you can get up, and you can try again.
